Women’s World Day of Prayer

This will take place on Friday 2nd March in the Methodist Hall, Bishop’s Castle at 11.00am using a form of service prepared by Christian women in Malaysia. Coffee will be provided from 10.00am. The speaker will be Jean Blaine J.P. The theme is ‘let justice prevail’. This will be followed by soup. All Welcome: Men, Women and Children.

Lent Group

A Lent Group will be taking place on Friday 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th March from 7.30pm-9.00pm in the Church Barn, Bishop’s Castle. The Theme: Soul Spark – a course exploring Prayer and Spiritual Growth through Prayer, Reflection and Sharing. Quiz Night

The Six bells, Bishop’s Castle has challenged the Parish Church to a quiz on Friday 24th February – £7.00 per person including a meal. The church needs to find teams of four or individual’s willing to join a team. Coffee at Lower Gardens – Lydbury North

The Celebration of Marriage

As part of our celebration of marriage weekend, we are beginning with a meal in the Church Barn, Bishop’s Castle on Sunday 11th February to which you are all warmly invited. Benefice Candlemas Service

The Benefice Candlemas Service will take place on Sunday 29th January in Sarn Village Hall at 11.00am. Everyone is warmly invited to join us for soup and a buffet lunch in the Sarn Inn for £3.50 per head following this service.
